Christian Peth started out by travelling the world and immersing himself in the wine cultures of Chile, Australia and the USA.  During this journey he realised his destiny lay back home in Bermersheim with his wife Maya and their children – a world traveller returned to the Rheinhessen. His wines reflect his character – confident, memorable and honest.  Internationally inspired wines with a distinguishing, unforgettable soul.  His ‘estate’ wines are multifaceted, with subtle, elegant fruits.  The Unfiltered Riesling is partially matured in French oak with regular batonnage to add complexity.  It is racked multiple times to clarify and allow it to be bottled unfiltered.
