Vignerons de Buxy

Founded in 1931, the Vignerons de Buxy, based in the Cote Chalonnaise area of Burgundy is the largest producer of Rully and Montagny, controlling around 70% of the entire appellation of Montagny. The Buxy co-operative comprises over 160 members and the cave has strived to promote quality and full traceability via consistent reinvestment in vineyard practices and winemaking technology, making it one of the most modern wineries in Europe. The wines of Montagny have gained in popularity in recent years as their mineral structure and ripe fruit, along with the fact that they are relatively unknown, makes them an excellent value wine from Burgundy.
