New and exclusive at London Wine Fair
The London Wine Fair is just around the corner and we’re really looking forward to being at this highlight of the London wine trade calendar. It’s a great chance to catch up with our customers, find out what trends are on the horizon and share the wines we love.
We’re particularly excited about showing the Walker & Wodehouse Essential Wines range. These are great value wines from the best wine-producing countries around the world. And they all retail at under £10 on the shelf. They are also completely exclusive to Walker & Wodehouse.
Here’s a sneak preview of just some of the wines that you can come and taste:
Spier
Stellenbosch, South Africa
Spier is the oldest farm in Stellenbosch but their winemaking is solidly in the 21st century. As a sustainable producer, Spier is a champion member of the Biodiversity & Wine Initiative and was one of the first Fair Trade organisations in South Africa.
- Discover Chenin Blanc Chardonnay 2015
This refreshing blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay has great structure and balance. Its layers of tropical fruit are underpinned by citrus notes and rounded off with a crisp, juicy finish. Ideal for summer drinking or with a healthy summer salad.
- Discover Pinotage Shiraz 2015
A bouquet of ripe cherries on the nose follows through to a palate of cherries, sweet red plums and raspberries. With a soft tannic structure and a pinch of spice, this classic South African red is perfect for sharing with friends and small plates.
Corzetti
Piedmont, Italy
A brilliant Italian duo, our new Corzetti wines offer bright and vibrant fruit presented in eye-catching packaging. As the home of European soul food, we were inspired to create these wines highlighting a great pairing – wine and pasta! Corzetti are a type of handmade pasta, typically found in the north west of Italy and can be found in hundreds of unique designs.

This crisp, zesty white wine is perfect with lighter pasta dishes and simply cooked seafood.
- Barbera 2015
Ripe and fruity, our Corzetti Barbera is perfect with richer, meatier pasta dishes as well as anything made with tomatoes, olive oil and parmesan.
Vina Zielo
Carinena, Spain
A new range from Spain, Vina Zielo is produced by Bodegas San Valero, a co-operative established in 1944 in the heart of Carinena. Working with over 700 growers, their vineyard reach totals 3,500 hectares with a variety of terroirs.
- Vina Zielo Garnacha Rosado 2015
A classic rose for the summer, bright strawberry in the glass. The wine is aromatic and subtly floral, and offers a fleshy and richly fruited palate. Perfect with a range of tapas, and Mediterranean dishes.
